ToggleNew Car Unveils
As we approach the end of 2024, the automotive world continues to keep us excited with a flurry of new launches and reveals. For a change, this month isn’t just about SUVs—two sedans are set to take the spotlight: the all-new Honda Amaze and the next-gen Toyota Camry. Kia, meanwhile, has plans to globally unveil its new Syros SUV before kicking off 2025 with its launch in January. Let’s dive into what each of these exciting models has to offer.
Skoda Kylaq: Full Price List Revealed

Skoda has assured us that these are introductory prices, but they won’t be changing drastically anytime soon. If you’re in the market for a compact SUV, this one’s worth checking out!

New Honda Amaze: Launching December 4
The countdown is on for the all-new Honda Amaze, launching tomorrow. This sedan is Honda’s fresh answer to Maruti’s recently updated Dzire, and from what we’ve seen so far (thanks to leaked images), it’s like a baby City on the outside. Inside, Honda’s taken inspiration from their Elevate SUV, with a noticeable bump in quality and features compared to the outgoing model.
Under the hood, Honda has kept things familiar, sticking with the tried-and-tested 1.2-litre petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. If you’re after a stylish and feature-packed compact sedan, the new Amaze could be worth waiting for.
Next-Gen Toyota Camry: Launching December 11
Next up, there’s the new Toyota Camry, set to launch on December 11. Toyota has built this one on the same modular TNGA-K platform as the outgoing model, but it looks more Lexus-like than ever. It’s a little longer now (though the wheelbase remains the same), giving it a sleeker, more premium vibe.
Inside, the Toyota Camry is all-new. Toyota’s given it a revamped dashboard with dual digital screens and a bucketload of tech. Powering this beauty is the familiar 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with two electric motors for a combined output of 227hp. If hybrid luxury sedans are your thing, this one’s got your name on it.
Kia Syros: Unveiling December 19
Mark your calendars for December 19 because Kia’s taking the wraps off the Syros SUV. Positioned above the Sonet, the Syros is Kia’s second compact SUV, and it promises to be something special. It’ll launch with two engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. An electric version is reportedly in the pipeline, too.
What’s interesting about the Syros is its focus on rear-seat comfort, addressing one of the Sonet’s biggest critiques—cabin space. The design will have a boxy, tallboy style inspired by Kia’s flagship EV9, giving it a bold, modern look. Pricing will be announced in January, so stay tuned!
It’s shaping up to be a busy and exciting month for car enthusiasts. Whether you’re into sedans or SUVs, there’s something for everyone! What are you most excited about? Let me know.
