Range Rover SV Masara Edition Debuts at Rs. 5 Cr Only 12 Made

Range Rover Masara Edition

“Masara” is a bespoke, invented name by Land Rover likely chosen for its luxurious sound and gemstone-like connotation, rather than for any literal linguistic meaning. It complements the vehicle’s inspiration. Himalayan sapphires, exclusivity, and elite craftsmanship.
I recently had the chance to check out something truly special the new Range Rover SV Masara Edition, and let me tell you, it’s nothing short of breathtaking. Priced at ₹4.99 crore (ex-showroom), this ultra-exclusive luxury SUV is inspired by the mesmerizing sapphires of the Himalayas and is limited to just 12 units worldwide. Yes, only 12. That level of rarity alone gives it serious collector appeal.

The Masara Design Language

This isn’t the first India-inspired Range Rover either you might remember the Ranthambore Edition and Himalayan Edition but the Masara takes things to an entirely new level of opulence and personalization. It’s based on the long-wheelbase Range Rover SV, and it comes dressed in a stunning Deep Satin Blue finish. This paint isn’t just unique Land Rover has confirmed it won’t be used on any other model, ever. Add in the bronze and chrome accents and those massive 23-inch alloy wheels, and you’ve got a vehicle that turns heads in the most elegant way possible.

The Range Rover Masara Edition Interior

Step inside, and the luxury continues in full force. The interior features a gorgeous blend of Liberty Blue and Perlino leather, complete with intricate embroidery and premium chrome detailing throughout. The moment you open the doors, you’re greeted by illuminated scuff plates reading ‘Masara Edition’ and ‘1 of 12’, just to remind you (or your guests) how truly exclusive this car is.

SV Signature Suite

It also comes loaded with the SV Signature Suite package think powered rear tables, a refrigerated compartment, and even custom-designed glassware. All the flagship features you’d expect are here too: adaptive air suspension, ADAS safety tech, a panoramic sunroof, and fully adjustable seats with heating, cooling, and massage functions.

Masara Engine Heart

Under the hood, this luxury behemoth packs serious power. It’s got a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine pushing out 615hp and 750Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it even features adaptive off-road cruise control and a high/low-range gearbox proving that despite all the polish and plushness, it’s still a proper Range Rover at heart.

Range Rover The Rare

In short, the SV Masara Edition is an incredible blend of bespoke craftsmanship, raw power, and Indian inspiration. For those lucky enough to get their hands on one of the 12 units, it’s more than just a car it’s a statement.
